No, not as final authentication. Saudi Arabia is not a Hague Convention member — it does not accept apostilles as the final step. The DFA apostille is required as an intermediate authentication, but Saudi Embassy Manila legalization must follow. Chain: DFA apostille → Saudi Embassy Manila → Arabic translation.
The UAE joined the Hague Convention in 2021 — for UAE, DFA apostille is now sufficient for most purposes. Saudi Arabia has not joined the Hague Convention, so the Saudi Embassy Manila step is still required in addition to the DFA apostille. Saudi Arabia is more complex than UAE for Filipino workers.
SCHS requires: (1) PRC nursing license (current, not expired) with DFA apostille + Saudi Embassy legalization, (2) official transcript from the issuing nursing school with DFA apostille + Saudi Embassy legalization, (3) PRC Certificate of Good Standing. All documents need Arabic translation.
DFA apostille: 4–8 business days. Saudi Embassy Manila: 5–10 business days. Arabic translation: 2–3 days. Total: approximately 3–4 weeks.
